Re: New guy needs some direction please!...

People are probably reluctant to respond because there are many ways to skin this cat, and it's really a more advanced project than you think. The people who post most frequently here like to hear...

    Re: Robotis DropBOX App?

I haven't personally received an email like this, but it has all the signs of some sort of phishing scam.
1.) The mail would have come from one of Dropbox's bots had someone actually shared...

Re: Bluetooth Control of AX Hexapods

App Inventor was great for getting it started, but it definitely affected the ability to use multitouch (they force you to compile for older devices, which puts some pretty strict limitations on what...

Re: When do we use a LIPO monitor?

Absolutely. Once it beeps, further discharging the battery puts you at risk of damaging the cells. Unplug the monitor, unplug and remove the battery from the robot, and put the battery on a charger.

Re: What programming editor do you recommend?

I'm gonna throw in another +1 for Sublime. I use it on Windows and Linux. It's sexy.
  9. Question(s) Re: Not Able to Find AX-12A servo with Dynamixel Wizard

You said in your original post that it was connecting on COM3, and your screenshot shows you're searching on COM23. Are you sure you're searching the right COM port?

Looks great! I see that these videos are set to unlisted on youtube. Would you be okay with us doing a write up on this and showing the videos off in the Trossen Robotics blog?

Re: Bluetooth Control of AX Hexapods

Interesting thought, I'll try it out. I do want to get fancy, but I am fairly limited at the moment (this is actually my first app, be gentle). I'll see what I can come up with. Lots to learn, so...

Re: Bluetooth Control of AX Hexapods

Sadly, yes, that's how it's supposed to work at this time. I'm a little bit new with all of this and haven't found out a way to keep both of the canvas objects that are the joysticks active at the...
