    just pop it open! You have to becareful of the first set of gears, they will full out but they only fit one way so it's not hard to put it back in the right order. I wished I had taken better pics...

    I think some high torque servos will do the trick, as long as the wings themselves are light enough - i.e. just bunch of feathers glued on to something thin, in shape of wings. You could use 2 servos...
