    Re: Introduce yourself!

    Hi everyone,

my name is Paul and I help run a Fablab in Ferney-Voltaire, FR near Geneva. I've built a bunch of 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC machines and am currently working on a PhantomX Hexapod mkIII. I'm very experienced at electronics and software. Been doing embedded systems since the 80s and linux since 1993.

    Cheers,

    Paul

    Hello,

Working on a robot to carry my things. Will have images up somewhere when what I have is image worthy.

  3. Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I live in New Zealand. My background is communications, electronics, and teaching ... I am now retired.

I enjoy experimenting with electronics and have published a few articles here https://www.instructables.com/member...instructables/.

Am currently experimenting with delta plotters.

Hi everyone and thanks for acceptation,

I am Elie, 23Yo and working on a drone company based in France : PILGRIM TECHNOLOGY. I have an Aeronautics engineering degree with a specialisation in embedded systems.
I am currently working on a project based on the trossen robotics hexapod.
    Glad to meet you all,

    Greetings from France

    Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi Everyone. My name is Kevin and I am interested in building small robots & electronic gadgets based on ESP & Rpi. Thanks.

  7. Re: Introduce yourself!

I'm a retired mechanical engineer (MSME). I've done a lot of programming to control and monitor laboratory test equipment and do spectral analysis. I did this mostly with NI LabVIEW. Plus I have done a lot of design work with Autodesk Inventor. I'm rather new at robotics but I do have a strong basic skill set. My first project is designed to do yard and garden work autonomously. It is still in the design stage but well along.
When I'm not working on my robot I'm either sleeping, eating, browsing for cool ideas for future projects, or working in my yard and/or garden. I also enjoy camping, fishing, hunting and visiting our national and state parks...

    Hello,

    Introducing myself...
I am a retired Engineer (Applied Physics, Power Electronics). I like anything electronics, mechatronics, motor and motion controls, especially if it is Kilowatt and/or Megawatt stuff. My top career challenges were designing a 1.8 Megawatt oven controller (480VAC, 1200A, 3 phases), and designing a 60VDC, 5000ADC, pulsed power system for a particle accelerator electromagnet.

  9. Re: Introduce yourself!

    Hi,

    Hope everyone is safe!
I am completely new to robotics and I want to understand how to implement automation ideas that one may have.
I am from a programming/machine learning background trying to venture into robotics.

  10. Re: Introduce yourself!

    Hello everyone!

I am new to the forum so I hope I am not doing something wrong.

I am Peter den Toom a graduating bachelor mechatronics student from the Netherlands. I am interested in delta robots and their forward and inverse kinematics. I have experience in forward kinematics and denavit-hartenberg convention for multi axes robots but not with linked axes.

Could someone please help me on this topic?

Ofcourse I googled a little myself. On this page related to the kinematics the writer refers to this forum:
    https://www.marginallyclever.com/oth...k-ik-test.html

I have seen a page made by mouradsme named Delta robot kinematics but this page is giving me an error:
    http://forums.trossenrobotics.com/tu...id=505#post505

I am doing something wrong or?

Maybe someone has a link or an explanation regarding this topic.

Thank you in advance for reading my message and I hope you can help me

    Kind regards,
    Peter
