    Re: Introduce yourself!

Ok, just a quick introduction of myself then.

I am Dennis, I started developing software in the early 80's (when I was about 13 I guess).
Currently I am employed by a company specialized in software for wholesale and retail-management.
On the side, I have my own company which specializes in backup-systems. For both companies, I get requests for RFID-integrated solutions which brings me here.

More questions? Don't hesitate to ask

    Dennis

One also has to look at how much of that is recycled in the hobby. If you buy that expensive digital transmitter/receiver pair, you're investing in a quality component that you'll still be using in five or ten years...

    Re: Introduce yourself!

Come on guys its "Introduce yourself" general chat.

  10. Re: Introduce yourself!

    Greetings,

My name is David C. Smith, I'm a cinematographer, tinkerer, and designer. When I'm not shooting movies, I own (with a partner) a small marketing company that creates interactive experiences. It started with interactive video websites and has grown to incorporate live displays for trade shows and events. Phidgets led to phidgetsusa which led me here. I have a passion and love of robotics and grass roots innovation. I hope to learn from the community and aspire to contribute as well. I am inspired by all of the wonderful projects that you all have been generous enough to share and I am looking forward to posting some of our work for others to enjoy.

    Thanks,
    David C. Smith
