    Arbotix commander Oled display

I really want a display on my controller that gives me feedback of different modes of my hexapod.
I quess the ideal way would be to get the modes from the hexapod, but I`m a newbe and made it so it counts locally how many times the buttons get pressed. its kinda vulnerable to get out of sync, but it works
    here`s my first results:

Is that the Adafruit OLED? I made the same mod a while back! I love those displays; they're so handy :-)

Then I tried to send data back from the bot to the controller, and found out that the Xbees take hundreds of milliseconds to "turn around" the connection in the air. While a solid 30 fps was no problem when sending commands one way (the default sketch,) when I send data forwards and back, I get 3 fps :-(

I quess so, its an I2c verson from ebay. They`re fantastic!
Do you still have the code? would be super interesting to see!
Did you program the xbee`s in some other settings than the "stock" settings then?
Or are they ready to be transceivers in "stock"settings?
I have so mutch to learn! I got to learn how to code two way communication!
Would be so awsome, and a opener for alot of projects :-)

The stock settings for the Xbee are bidirectional. But, as I said, you will see big "hitches" of delay each time you try to send data the other way.

To send the data on the bot, insert a call to Serial.println() (or write) every so often (say, every second.)
To receive the data on the controller, call Serial.available() to see how many bytes are currently there, and call Serial.read() to receive each of the characters, until you find the line-end character.
