Thread: Seeker 2x - Mini Sumo

  1. Seeker 2x - Mini Sumo

    Attachment 505

I have been documenting my (erratic) progress on my mini-sumo project, Seeker 2x, on my Trossen blog, but I suspect a lot of people don't read them, so I thought I would open a project thread for it here.

Seeker 2x is the successor to Seeker 2, my "champion" mini-sumo. Seeker 2 has been in operation for about five years, and I've wanted to build a new one for a couple years. The design goals are faster, lower, smarter, more aggressive.

The project is well on its way now. I have a hard deadline of mid-November, which is when the next Canadian National Robot Games are being held.

    It's a really nice project!

Seeker 2 the project that pulled me into trying to build a mini sumo!

I can't wait to see what you will come up with. I want to participate to the CNRG too, but I'm not sure my bot will be done in time.

What beautiful craftsmanship! I'm excited to see the final design

So, I finally broke down and decided (with 3 weeks to go before the 2009 robot games in Toronto) that I'm going to finish this robot, dammit!
