Thread: Arbotix-M programmer not responding

  1. Arbotix-M programmer not responding

Hello all, I am having trouble uploading to my new Arbotix-M. I followed the tutorials, and everything was working (i.e blink, until I tried to use the Dynamanager to set the IDs of my AX-12s. After this, I can no longer upload to my Arbotix-M. The weird thing is, with verbose output, I get the following output during the write:

I think this means my connection (including drivers, cable orientation, power etc) is working properly, but my programmer or bootloader isn't working properly.
I am on a Mac using Arduino 1.6.13 with the current libraries available on Github. I have tried connecting my TX/RX pins on the cable, and can verify that they are working with the drivers (i.e text is echoed in the serial monitor). The upload says it's successful, but the program doesn't work as expected (I tried reuploading the blink example). I have tried reflashing the bootloader but it gives the same error. Does anyone have any idea what my next steps are? Or is my board fried already?

    EDIT:
I was using an FTDI cable, also tried programming directly using a Up board as a ISP. Was able to reflash the bootloader using it, but that didn't fix the FTDI problem. Also tried flashing a script to it, but I get the verification error that other people are having.
