Contest: Junkbot 3

Ok...so the premise is Humanoids. The more animated the better. (think Crabfu) What that means I'll leave up to you. Just make sure its cheap and Easy. The cheaper the better. Winner gets a subscription 1 year only to Robot Magazine on my dime. While there is no hard limit here on cost, there is a limit on difficulty. Projects should be judged higher if they are something that people just getting into robotics can build on a reasonable budget. Please take lots of pictures along the way. Also, As before 20% by mass can be from a kit.

So since all my servos, brackets and motors previously came from a kit, I can't enter them? Now, how to build a humanoid without any motors...

Hmmmm

"Come from a kit" is meant to discourage people from entering a kit robot with clothes on it or something like that...how about we make it..."come from a kit and used as intended in the kit." The rules on this one are a bit loose...As for the servos/motors from a kit... This contest in intended to encourage hacking old things and making new things. If you have something from a kit that you are willing to sacrifice then by all means sacrifice away!!!
