    Any RoboBuilder Users out there?

Hi...my name is Adam and I have a .... *sweating* *looking around*...an electronics problem. Glad I got that off my chest. Now, I am new to robotics and to forums, it took my an hour to figure out how to make a thread. Feeling a little dumb right now, so be gentle with me. I am getting a RoboBuilder in the mail next week and I was wanting to get people's feedback or tips with it. I don't imagine I will have many problems with building or anything like that, I just noticed there is not a whole lot of posts on RoboBuilders. Mostly just that they are for beginners, that's me. Is there anything I just watch out for avoid, not run the servos too fast too long? Should I avoid trying to program back flips of the kitchen table? That sort of thing (the last one is a joke just for those wondering, I am new to robotics, not common sense). Please fill me in on your expierences if any. I love this place.

    A few tips.

    1) Avoid thread locking adhesive and other solvents. Some of the structural plastic has shown to be alergic.

    2) Pay special attention to the orientation of the pentagonal joins on the servo shaft. The instructions take a while to understand.

    3) Use the right screws and tighten well the above joints onto the servo shaft. These are the screws most likely to loosen.

    4) Ask for help here or on the Robosavvy site if you get stuck

Welcome to the forum and from the Robobuilders.

Re: Any RoboBuilder Users out there?

Well, now that I have the RoboBuilder, I have another question. I am loving it and all but I have one concern. It's preprogrammed movements (i.e. walking forward, backward) are a little off. I am able to change it's intial pose, but the forward and backward walking needs to be aligned. He doesn't walk straight. But I can't find how to reprogram those commands. Anybody know how to do that?
