  1. Barbie Web Rover

    I and two of my friends have been working on an internet rover based off of a kids Barbie Powerwheels car. We are still adding stuff to it, but the majority of it is done. The main goal was to spend as little money as possible. You can see the full writeup with pictures and video here:

    Just an FYI - if you would like to be eligible for the next projects contest you would have to post the project here in the forums. A link doesn't qualify.

    Neat project but you could have said it was a bigfoot and we never have known barbie was involved lol! Great project!

    Nice! I started on the same project a couple of months ago when I got one of the power wheels jeeps for super cheap ($28!) at a yard sale. I'm planning on making mine an autonomous test platform for outside robots. I'm keeping front the way it is but changing the tires to rubber and installing a laptop and wireless access.
