First rover bot project!

Hi, i've been searching for this kind of robots and it looks interesting, so i decided to began making one and need some help/advices.
My idea is to have a rover with some sensors (light, distance, temperature, etc), 1 DC motor, 2 or 3 servos... the brain would be a mini-itx pc (has a wireless card) with Arduino Duemilanove (already bought) and a camera too. The rover will be basically running at my home, and in the future i plan to have it automated, so he can go around without human interaction.

My question is, for the motor controller i saw this shield:
Motor Shield with L293B
And for sensors i've found this:
Sensor Shield V4

But how do i attach both of them to arduino ? In order to controll the motors and the sensors ?
I'm a little confused with this. Can anyone give me some answers or better ideas for this project.

Some Arduino shields stack on top of each other, which these appear to do. As long as you aren't using pins on the Sensor Shield that are used by the Motor Shield, you should be fine.

By the way, what program (CAD) do you people use to design robot frame ?

It's totally based on personal preference, personally I use Autodesk Inventor.

Also, in my project i plan to have sort of a web page or program to control the robot, can anyone point me directions/how to ?
