Awesome work tybes. Can you post a pic showing where your going to hide the battery and controller? I'm figuring this will be an arbotix jobber right?

Yeah, working on that. Battery is going on the butt and I'm using a top secret arbotix controller on the back :P

Yeah...I am putting my battery in the butt too...wait...that sounds dirty. :-p

I was thinking of mounting the arbotix on top, but any where you put it messes with the whole design. You have a super secret arbotix huh...now I'm wondering if I should wait to mount mine. One thing is that if the arbotix is mounted on the back of the top swivel part then the wire for power has to be longer to reach when the chest twists around. Might get hooked by an opponent?

I would highly suggest looming and tucking your cables if you're going to be fighting with it. You can have longer cables, just be sure they're properly constrained.

Hide the board in case some other robot stick their metal fingers between the pins

So how do the servos cope with driving one joint cooperatively? I know EX-106s have a sync hardware port for doing exact synchronization in this scenario, which is not available for RX-24 AFAIK.
I would imagine that slight miscalibration of servo joint angle sensing, delays in communication or wear in potentiometers could lead to both servos basically fighting each other.

Other than that, very nice design, looking forward to seeing it in action
