    New ROS Sub-Forum

Just as a heads up to the TRC community, in case you hadn't noticed, we now have a new ROS sub-forum! Thanks to Alex and Andrew for setting this up!

We've moved several threads in here already -- and I'm sure this is just the beginning. I would however like to take a moment to point out that there is an official ROS user list (https://code.ros.org/mailman/listinfo/ros-users) which may be a more appropriate place to for some topics (for instance, "I think I found a bug in gmapping" would probably be better directed to the gmapping package developers, who are more likely to be on ros-users than on TRC).

    Awesome!

To bad ROS doesn't use a forum. I think forums tend to be much more beginner friendly. I hate to post stuff to the entire ROS user list. On top of that the archive search doesn't seem to work very well. (I have daily dispatches sent to my gmail, and I use gmail to search).

Have you tried using Nabble.com to search that list? It works great.
