    Smile Robot Dog Chases Ball

    Hey all!

All my friends keep getting pets. I keep getting more allergic to them! So I decided to build my own pet... What do you think?

That is so cool djsures, a very interesting bot, love it.
People yearn after this robotic dream, but you can't strip your life of all meaning, emotion and feeling and expect to function.

This is what I call "creativity"
Btw, I'm curious about the camera you use. And the the algorithm implemented.
    After all, nice job, man!

LOL! I was walking through Walmart when I saw the toy shell. I knew right away it would be chasing a ball when I got home. Many hours later and it worked

The algorithm is quite complex but I can dumb it down. The EZ-Builder has a few Camera Controls, the one i used is "Color Tracking". The preview window is split into quadrants. The most detected color (based on scaling and normalization) in each quadrant determines the location of the object. So the program matches color, not shape.

I had done some shape detection modules, but some cameras don't have very high quality and awful color saturation. So we found lots of problems with different cameras and decided to not include shape detection in EZ-Builder at this time.

If we determine an affordable camera that we can standardize to support, then expect the shape detection to return to ez-builder ..
