Mech-Warfare 2011 Results

I know I was there for most of the results. I did get kicked out by security at like 8:30 on Sunday because I forgot to bring my tag with me (really annoying, but understandable). But, I didnt get to see who won the final match.

Plus, maybe we could put up a scorecard or a log of how the matches went for everyone to see???

Final standings were:

1st place - Immortal by Cire
2nd place - Abe by angelicgundam90
3rd place - Bheka by gdubb2

The last match score was I believe 16-0.

Bheka vs. Abe was 20-16 and decided on time? Both bots were having some gun troubles.

I didn't snap a picture of the ladder, but it was hung on the wall, and I seem to recall someone grabbing a snapshot.

Well congrats to Cire (Eric). He had one of the smoothest running mechs there, combined with the high power of those new guns, I would say he deserved to win. He also had a really impressive design that drew in a lot of viewers. His mech was something to see in there. But I did get shot twice by that thing while video taping the matches for him, once in the knuckle and once in the ear. Those guns really hurt.

Sorry about shooting you up man, I think that was the match where my xbee was losing connection and my bot would do a 360 with the guns firing.
