    Shaft extender for dynamixel

    Hi,

I want to put a timing belt pulley on a dynamixel servo. Is there a ready made piece of hardware for that? For example adaptor which could extend the servo output shaft to say e.g. 3/16in diameter D shaped shaft or something? Or a shaft with hub which can be mounted on standard horn? I looked around an could not find anything which fits the servo except the default horn.

    Thank you,
    Janis.

    Re: Shaft extender for dynamixel

I am doing something similar for a problem like that. I am using a mini-motor, but since I wanted something so specific, I designed on a CAD program and am going to 3D print it. It has the timing belt pulley built right into it then. With 3D printing now, if you can't find the exact piece you are looking for, you can always make it for cheap, if its just a little thing like that.
