Interested in buying a AX-12+ quadripod

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in buying an AX-12+ quadropod, but i'm not completly sure that i got all the knowledge to do the few last steps of programming on the board. I would be happy to learn and take the time to do it, but i'm afraid that it would be too complex for me. I've done some programming with ''expert'' on atmega for some project but i'm still not full used to it. If you could confirm that this robot isn't impossible to program for someone like me, it would be appreciated.
I choosed this bot because it's not to easy to build and it have a pretty damn nice look. If you got some more sugestion for robot that i could buy, it would be appreciated too. The price (1000$) is the max that i can put on it.

I myself am a newbie, I would suggest to try a smaller mech to get the learning curve down. You wouldn't drive a ferrari if you if you are still parking you vw bug in the driveway. Btw I own a bug! Stay below $500.00 if you can then with experience and knowhow it will be a hobby to enjoy.

Trossen has a nice PhantoX ax12+ quad coming out and its priced right at 999$. Be a good place to dive right in. Sounds like it comes ready to go and from there you can customize and modify it. Be a good place to start if thats what you are looking for.

@Hanzuki Yeah this was the robot i was talking about, but it seems backorder now. Anyways, this is the kind of robot i'm looking for.
