Team 2980's Open Source FIRST Robot

I have no interest in turning this into another FIRST website, but for any of you who wonder where i have gone, I've been working with my students on the latest FIRST project. Most of all I am proud of all the hard work my students have and continue to put into this project.

Today we actually started cutting metal, we have one set of frame elements cut out, and Bowman Manufacturing, one of our material sponsors and team mentors is cutting out a couple brackets that are too big for our CNC to do on its own.

We should have something physical to show by Monday.

I'm attaching a zipped folder full of PDF files showing all of the Dimensions. If anyone wants the original Autodesk Inventor files just PM me and I'll send them out.

Here is our frame. For the first time in the history of ever we have, or at least think we have the time to powder coat our frame. The middle is going to be flourecent green. The outer frame purple.
