    Done I am definitely interested.

Tonight, I made some more board:

I probably won't have much time to write documentation for it before at least a week, I'm off working on a different style of robot with friends of mine who happens to be an amazing artists (one does the sculpture, one does the audio, I do the animatronics part) :

ID:	5429 (it's roughly the size of a horse, made with scooter and motorbike parts, and it moves its head, its 2 pairs of ears and its lips. it also has speakers with a sub-woofer in the chest and makes an incredible mix of motorcycle and tigre sounds )

EDIT: I'll try to motivate myself to make a thread about it when I come back, there are some nifty things to show

I have published the begining of the documentation, for those who might be interested, at http://xevelabs.com .
It mainly covers setting the parameters in the firmware (most important of all, the PID for the motor!), but there isn't much more needed so far.

I have played with it in a robot for the Frech Robotics Cup this year, and while the robot had other problems, this board worked perfectly once the PID has been tune a little.

I think the next revision will have a gyro on it, and will provide a mode with interleaved LIDAR and gyro data to make it possible to account for the distortions in the map when the robot turns, without requiring the host to separately poll a gyro (which could lead to difficulties in synchronization on non-Real Time OS).

    Xevel,

What operating system are you using to work with Neato's lidar?

    Hey, sorry for the delay.
The USB2LDS works with Windows / Linux, probably with MacOS too although I haven't tested it.
