Screw Theory : Robot Mechanics and Control

    In Screw Theory,
in the matrix ([w],v;0,0) is there any physical interpretation for the vector v ?

And why the choice ([w],v;0,0) and not ([w],v;0,1) ?

Re: Screw Theory : Robot Mechanics and Control

Interesting. Thank you for bringing screw theory to my attention. I only had one course in kinematics and I don't remember anything about this, but it was 35+ years ago.

I'll read about it when I have time.
