Thread: Robattlebots

  1. Robattlebots

    Hello,

My name is Joseph Bryant Jr. I am an Engineering student and I am working on a project I call RoBattleBots. I am looking for a team to collaborate with me on this project. I truly believe that it will soon turn into next great thing in robot competition. If you are interested you can contact me here or at [email protected]. Thank you.

See: Combots, Robot Battles, Mech Warfare.
Also, IIRC 'Battle Bots' is trademarked, so that little 'Ro' will not likely keep you out of legal trouble.

Please pardon the pedantry... and the profanity... and the convoluted speech pattern...

You are unlikely to get any qualified applicants without actually letting those applicants know why they'd want to work with you.
Everybody has hundreds of demands on their time. Why is your idea something that anyone else would care about?
To get good leads, you need to share what your idea is, and why you are the one who will succeed with this idea.
For more insight into this, look for example at this article: http://opensource.com/life/13/8/stealing-ideas
(There are tons more like it.)
