Thread: I'm attempting to build an outdoor led display for my local church

  1. I'm attempting to build an outdoor led display for my local church

I'm a freelance user interface designer and I have some experience with interactive design. My local church that I attend would like to put up a led display board to post updates and church messages. I have no idea where to start but any help would be greatly appreciated or pointed me in the right direction.

I managed to build a small lcd display 7" as a test and it does everything i want it to. using a rasberry pi control board and lcd.

This image is the closet thing to what my church actually wants. ( i'm willing to do all the research necessary just looking to get pointed in the right direction.

  2. Re: I'm attempting to build an outdoor led display for my local church

Just to clarify, do you want to buy it or to build it?

Personally, I can't really help with any of these alternatives, but that might help others answer your question
