Thread: MX-28 dynamixel error COMM_RXCORRUPT: Incorrect status packet

  1. MX-28 dynamixel error COMM_RXCORRUPT: Incorrect status packet

I am new to using Dynamixel MX-28. I am using the USB2Dynamixel adaptor and trying to run the VC++ examples in roboplus for windows. but I am getting an error saying "COMM_TXFAIL: Failed transmit instruction packet!" .Why I am getting this error.I think I made the power connections right.

Re: MX-28 dynamixel error COMM_RXCORRUPT: Incorrect status packet

If the "transmit" function fails, then the program could not properly open the correct COM port.
This may be because of missing drivers, or because of choosing the wrong COM port, or because it's already busy from some background process.
