    Time of Flight sensors

Apparently there's a $1,300 time of flight sensor that's alright:

It's claimed to work up to 100 kilolux, so outdoors would be OK for a while, too.

Does anyone know how this compares to the other options?

Oh, look, twice the resolution at half the price!
