Fast way to mount electronics and batteries on your bot

    Difficulty
    easy
    Estimated Time
    varies
    Skills Required
IQ over 85 would be great
    Parts Required
    sorbothane sheet

    Velcro
    Tools Required
    Scissors
Tool to drill your holes and/or slots
Mounting all the electronics and batteries onto your robot can often be a pain in the butt. Drilling dozens of holes, measuring them all out to line up perfect, spacers, nuts, bolts, ack! Then taking it all apart when you have to work on something… we discovered a better way to secure things down on our bots which is much faster. Using a sorbothane sheet and some Velcro you can fasten down just about anything very securely. Then, when you need to take it off to work on it’s super easy. No need to try to get in there with screw drivers and wrenches.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. This is a lot better than drilling a bunch of holes. Where would one pickup that rubber? I don't recall seeing it in hardware stores, but maybe I missed it.
We suspected that an agreement with humans would prove impossible to maintain. You are erratic, conflicted, disorganised. Every decision is debated, every action questioned. Every individual entitled to their own small opinion. You lack harmony, cohesion, greatness. It will be your undoing.

    From the product description:
"It's soft, stretchy, and slightly tacky"

    But I'm not cheap!

Oh - you were talking about the rubber sheets. Sorry... Thought you were talking about me...
